2025 SUMMER T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION

It’s time for you to shine!
The 2025 PLAY NW GOLDBERG T-SHIRT DESIGN COMPETITION is officially OPEN!
From March 14 through May 16, Detroit children are able to submit their design for the official camper t-shirt of the 2025 PLAY NW GOLDBERG summer youth sports program!
The winner not only will have their design printed on the shirt for all program participants, but they will also receive a $1,000 prize thanks to our generous partner, the Steen Foundation!
The theme is inclusive, youth sports.
COMPETITION RULES:
The artist must be under the age of 18 as of May 16, 2025.
The artist must be a city of Detroit resident.
The design can include a MAXIMUM of eight (8) colors!
The submission must be made on the official entry form (linked for download below).
Submissions must be made via email to hello@nwgoldbergcares.com.
The submission can be completed by a parent/guardian.
Any submission that is found to be in violation of the rules will be diqualified.
COMPETITION TIMELINE
MARCH 14 - MAY 16, 2025
Children are able to submit their design via email to hello@nwgoldbergcares.com.
MAY 16 - 17, 2025
The committee will select the top 10 designs to be voted on by the public.
MAY 17 - MAY 25, 2025
The top 10 designs will be voted on by the public via an internet platform!
MAY 26 - 30, 2025
The five (5) designs with the most public votes will be taken to the committee to make a final selection.
MAY 31, 2025
The winner will be announced!
