The REST. PLAY. RIDE PARK expands upon a previous iteration (REST & RIDE PARK) at the corner of Linwood and Ferry Park to address the need for a covered bus shelter.

Now, the REST. PLAY. RIDE PARK explores the intersection between play and resting for the 29 Linwood bus arrival.

The REST & RIDE PARK was funded through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Public Spaces Community Places grant program, with individuals and corporations donating over $12,900 and the MEDC providing a $12,500 match, resulting in over $25,000 invested in the intersection at Linwood and Ferry Park.

The REST. PLAY. RIDE PARK is funded by Kaboom! and the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
